The Almond Hazelnut Twist is something very popular in Germany as well as here at Rococo Bakery. We also prepare this Sweet bread with a Cream Cheese filling.

If you don’t like bread, perhaps some assorted rolls would be an idea. With tasty cold cuts and some decoration – all available at the bakery, it’s a treat for everyone.

German Cheese cake with cherries – made with Quark, a German soft cheese – something for the cheese cake lovers.

German Apple Cake is prepared a little different in each German household. We placed some sweet yeast dough under the apples and streusel on top. Yum!!!

We also prepare our own Granola. The Saijo Persimmons grow in Chef B.’s backyard and would be great additions, if you could get them. Sorry, we do not carry yogurt.

The German Chocolate cake is actually not German at all. It was named after the inventor, and his last name happened to be German. However, it is a delicious cake and of course, available at Rococo.

We bake Pumpkin “Teabread” (there is no Tea in this bread, it’s just the name of it), around the holidays. Year round we switch to Banana Nut Bread, or Zucchini Bread, or Cranberry Bread etc.

Chocolate covered Biscotti with Tanenashi Persimmon slices and a Latte or Expresso – what a treat. Well, you’ll find it all at Rococo, except the Persimmons, they grow in Chef B.’s back yard.

All year around we carry Pies and Quiche. However, we go with the season, so you will not find the same kinds every time you walk in. In the spring we start off with a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, followed by Blackberry Pie, Blueberry Pie, Peach Pie, Cherry Pie, Apple Pie, Pumpkin, and Pecan Pie. We always carry our Tomato Pie, Key Line Pie, Turtle Cheese Pie, and an assortment of Quiche.

Even though these two are very sweet, they are not for sale!!! Emilie, the girl and Christie her mom star in the Rococo commercial that airs on ABC News Channel 4. Emilie loves chocolate, but here she puts a Gingerbread house together while mom is watching. Many thanks to both of you!!

During the holidays we have lots of German Gingerbread at the bakeries. And of course, also Gingerbread houses, with lots and lots of candy.

Right after Thanksgiving all the way until Christmas Eve one can find our German Christmas Stollen. Fruit Butter Stollen, Marzipan Fruit Butter Stollen, and Almond Butter Stollen.

As an idea for your dessert plate, here is a wonderful and very tasty chocolate Mousse piped in a Florida Orange, surrounded by an Orange and Raspberry sauce. Are you getting an appetite already?

Basil Baguette with Bacon, Spinach, and Cheese is one of our latest inventions. This is a whole meal by itself. We bake it fresh, but you may freeze it and bake it it off just before serving – and claim that you made it yourself. (we don’t mind).

Just a few days before Christmas we prepare the traditional “Yule log”, nicely decorated and ready to be indulged. Make sure you order one, since we only prepare limited amounts.

We have lots and lots of different Tortes, one of them is the popular chocolate Butter cream Torte, pictures with some champagne glasses, and they don’t have to stay empty!

This dessert is also new in our assortment. “Apple Flan”, as shown on Lowcountry Live in December 2006, we will also bake it with different fruits according to the season. Come on in and check it out!
